Giselle Hicks

Giselle is originally from Laguna Niguel, California. She received her BFA in Ceramics from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University in New York. She also traveled to study the ceramic arts in Italy, China, Japan, Myanmar, Chile and Jamaica. Giselle spent three years as an artist-in-residence and summer assistant to the ceramics department at the Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. In the fall of 2005, she spent three months as and artist-in-residence in the Arts/Industry Program at the John Michael Kohler Art Center and Kohler Co. in Kohler, Wisconsin. She currently resides and maintains a studio in Cummington, Massachusetts while working as a gallery manager at the Ferrin Gallery in Lenox, Mass.
